  14. Well, the problem's simple: I can't format it. Or rather, I can, but 
  15. not  without turning off the verify option... could this have caused 
  16. my (frequent) errors with AFS?
  17.  
  18. It started with some small faults, like the odd file or directory 
  19. that couldn't be deleted. It'd disappear from DOpus's window, but 
  20. reappear when you scanned that directory again...
  21. Then larger and larger parts of the partition became 
  22. unread/writeable... and now I can't access any file at all... This 
  23. is what happens:

  26. (requester popping up saying "wrong dirblock id", pressing Cancel a 
  27. few times)
  28.  > dir
  29. (ditto)
  30.  Directory of HD1:#?
  31.  
  32.  >
  33.  
  34. And that's it! Nothing there... there goes all the InterNet stuff, 
  35. all the games stuff, all my modules... sigh!
